here are a few tipps on "how to...." for a few things. Feels free to post any questions or anything else related to the appearance, tags etc. for this site!
Most options for posting you will find at the very bottom of your window:
If you post a pic by link - which I recommend for larger galleries to save some space - you can post now the link directly! If you want to use the "add an image" button, then don't forget the round bracket at the very end. If not, the pic won't show. Everything else is pretty similar to our last site.
If you just wanna post a single or few pics, you can just copy/paste it right in your post or drag&drop from a folder.
Videos you can post easy: Just post the link of the source and the video will embed automatically after posting.
You also can upload your own MP3 and MP4 Files up to 64MB. Simply by drag & drop! A player will automatically embed your audio and video files!
These are (right now) our Tags. Some tags have a sub-category as you can see:
E.g. if you want to post some news about a singer that passed away, you use the "In Memoriam" category. But if you want to talk/post about a lost loved one, go inside the "In Memorian" category to the correct sub-category!
But worry not - even if you clicked wrong, all new posts are visible and right on top on the main site! The tags are just for filter and for you to click, in case you're only interested in certain categories and in case you don't want to scroll all through.
In theory, we have unlimited posting space! But I assume that (it usually is) there IS a limit. But it will be pretty high. In case we reach it, I would delete the very oldest posts. Right now it looks like this:
I did limit the upload pic size to 5MB. If this is too small for most of your pics, let me know. This does NOT affect pics you post by link (like ImageChest or Imgur). The system does automatically resize all pics posted here to 1080x1920. So it looks all the same, a bit easier on the eyes. I can change that as well, if you like.
Mobile phones and Laptop/PCs run a bit different. The sites appearance is slightly different. I hope I fixed most bugs. Maybe not everything perfect, but should run ok on the devices. If not, please let me know. I'll try to fix the CSS code then.
