Another 600 or so words written for the climax this morning. I was kind of dreading it, even though I knew how I wanted it to go. I'm pretty pleased with it (although subsequent readings will probably disappoint me, or at least suggest improvements). But it's written.

Now I just have the final scene, and the first draft will be done.

There's going to be a mess of clean-up work to do, but I can't think about that now.

If the right call comes up. Right now, none of the publishers that I follow have anything this will align with. But it's a story I needed to write, for a variety of reasons. That's cryptic, I know, and I apologize, but it's complicated.
